A few months back Valve introduced a store into the Team Fortress 2 game that allows players to make, buy, and sell character items such as hats and weapon upgrades.  This store has turned out to be rather successful and now Valve has made Team Fortress free to play. If you don’t already have Team Fortress 2 be sure to grab it now that it is free and join the fun.

Another tower defense game based on the cult classic movie Army of Darkness was released this week.  In Army of Darkness Defense you take on the roll of Ash and defend the castle from enemy hordes.  Army of Darkness Defense includes sound bytes from the movie featuring the voice of Bruce Campbell. Army of Darkness Defense is currently on sale for an introductory price of $0.99 for the iPhone or $2.99 for the iPad.

This summer there will be a bunch of comic and fanboy movies being released.  This week kicks off them all off with Thor. When I first saw still pictures of the Thor movie I was a bit put off but after viewing the trailer I think it may actually turn out pretty good.
