AMC recently announced that The Walking Dead television series will premier on Halloween at 10PM EST. The premier episode will be 90 minutes and each episode after will be 60 minutes. A 4 1/2 minute trailer has also bee released:

Saw this over on the AMC site while looking for news about The Walking Dead tv show and though I would share:
This animation is 8 minutes long and covers the first 15 and a half pages from issue no 1 of The Walking Dead comic book.

But I’m still not sure about this. Alan Moore has already said this story can never be done properly in movie format. Watchmen is a fantastic story, I hope they don’t ruin it.
